HARD WORK, FOCUS, & TECHNIQUE



Concepts Dance Academy's primary focus is to provide our students with a demanding, technique-driven curriculum that runs for a full dance year, September to June, with summer enrichment programs also available. Whether a dancer joins us for recreational purposes or preprofessional training, our dedicated faculty members, who are actively engaged professionals in the dynamic Tri-State dance industry, ensure that all students receive comprehensive training.



Dance-Level Placement



Students' placement levels are determined with care to ensure optimal progress. While initial placement is generally based on age, adjustments may be made by the director with faculty input, considering ability, strength, and past development. Advancement hinges on attendance, application, attitude, artistic prowess, dance accomplishments, and physical qualifications—not solely on age or duration of study.



Tuition & Fees



Registration:

The annual registration fee, along with a minimum of the first month's tuition installment and the required documentation, must be submitted at the time of registration to secure a spot in the class.


Sibling Discount:

Additional children per immediate family receive a 10% discount on classes of equal or lesser value.


Annual Tuition covers the 2023-24 Dance Season.

We do not prorate payments. Monthly tuition payments remain the same, whether it is a long or short month.


Two Payment of Options:

Full Payment at Registration (receives 5% discount)

Monthly Plan (paid monthly from Registration to May)


Accepted Payment Methods:

Credit/Debit (auto-draft preferred) & Cash


Tuition is due the 1st of each month.

Tuition payments that remain unpaid by the 10th of the month will be automatically processed using the card on file. After the 10th, all outstanding or declined tuition transactions will be subject to a non-refundable late fee of $35 and class participation will be suspended until the account balance is settled.



Attendance & Participation



Consistent attendance, a crucial element in the optimization of each student's progress and growth, takes precedence in our dance program at Concepts Dance Academy. All students are expected to attend scheduled classes, rehearsals, and performances punctually, as this directly contributes to their technique acquisition and personal development.


Whenever possible, absences should be communicated in advance, and any unforeseen absences due to illness or emergencies should be promptly reported. Recognizing that excessive absences may hinder the student's learning journey, we emphasize open communication and dedication to individual improvement.
